When will we not have to hide

what I mean to you and you to me?

When will you be by my side?

Will you ever be?

Someday and soon,

that's what we say.

Next month? In June?

When is someday?

Will you come here,

Or will I go there?

I just want you near,

I don't really care where.

And yet there's a fear

That we won't be able to get along

That you won't want to have me near

that our personalities are too strong

Life is complicated enough

without distance in the way

missing half my heart is tough
